Born in England, Stephen's early life was a global adventure, growing up in Nigeria and Barbados before returning to complete his education in Chemistry, Applied Physics, and Biology. This unique background set the stage for a dynamic career that began as a Research Chemist, where he helped develop the first water-based gloss paint for ICI Paints.
From there, Stephen transitioned into sales and marketing, working for major global brands in the construction industry across Europe, the USA, the Middle East, and South America. His lifelong interest in construction—inspired by his father, a project manager—led him to start his own successful construction businesses in both the UK and South America. Throughout his career, Stephen's commitment to people shone through; his companies were known for training young professionals and helping them launch their careers.
After selling his businesses in 2017, Stephen’s travels led him to the Philippines, where he decided to settle permanently in 2019. This move didn't diminish his drive to help others. As a trustee for the Lighthouse Club Manila, he actively supports scholars, vocational training, and manages the club’s marketing and website. He continues this mission as a Private Wealth Consultant at NEBA Wealth Management, where he helps Global citizens and expats as well as local Filipino’s with their financial and retirement planning, investments and UK property purchases.
Outside of his professional life, Stephen loves to explore the beauty of the Philippines with his wife, Mary. He is also dedicated to his community, staying fit, jogging, swimming and supporting local charities. As an active member of The Manila Club, Stephen is helping to develop the website and grow both membership and develop charitable programmes.
